When you see things at a glance what judgments do you make?

(Or when you hear a sound bite or read a headline.)

I rarely enter my home through the front door. When I saw this yellow bag I concluded it contained telephone books.
That was based upon my past experience.
I left the yellow bag there for three days before I picked it up intending to throw in the recycling.

SURPRISE TO ME!
It was lovely gift from one of my neighbors.

It makes me realize how easy it is to rush to judgment without enough information.
Does that ever happen to you?
