How do you get heard?
Too many words may disengage your listener!

Some people complain they aren’t listen to. Set yourself up to be heard, consider:

Begin with thinking or saying your intention
Ask a question to engage his or her mind
Address how your topic is relevant to him or her
Organize your thoughts use as few words as possible
Avoid repeating yourself
Listen with all your senses
Get centered so you aren’t nonverbal pushing or pulling
Pause and make sure you make eye contact
