Are you a fisher or a fooler?

I grew up in a fishing family.  My father use to ask us this question regularly.
His real question was, “Are you committed to fish or are you just playing?”

I think about this question a lot, you see fish seem to sense calmness on the other end of the pole.
Fishing requires center and patience.
You can’t rush a fish.
Just like most things, rushing and forcing chases it away.

If you are going to fish, then fish.
If you are just there to fool around go somewhere else!

What are you fishing for?
Are you focused enough to let it come forth?
Or, are you fooling around?
