What do you want that you don’t have?

Often the most disregarded point when in conflict is Intention.

Instead of focusing on the struggle, the issue, focus on what you want.
When you do this it moves you toward your intent.
When you focus on the issue it makes the issue bigger and often gets into blaming, which creates more resistance.

When you focus on what you want, leave others’ behavior our of it.  Focus on what you want.
For example: instead of ‘I want you to do this.’ Say or think, ‘I want our customers to be delighted.”
