Two months ago I attended a seminar.  At the time, I felt such gratitude for a new exercise/ritual I learned.  AND, I knew how powerful it would be for me to add to my daily routine.  It is something simple; it takes less than 2 minutes.

What happened? I changed nothing.

Have you experienced this?

In the book, The Power of Full Engagement, Loehr and Schwartz suggest, “As little as 5% of our behaviors are consciously self-directed.  We are creatures of habit and as much as 95% of what we do occurs automatically or in reaction to a demand or an anxiety.”

How do you make something a habit? A variety of research suggests that it takes 21 days to make something a habit.

I’d like to create more good habits.  How about you?

Here is the challenge I am committing to:  I am going to post on my blog daily whether I followed through  – for 21 days.  That is how I will hold myself accountable.

Would you like to join me?  If so, log an entry on my blog.  And come back and comment on your entry whether you followed through or not daily.  You don’t have to share the specifics, just whether you followed through.

Here is to more good habits!
